If both the child and parent are using iOS (Apple devices)
When an error occurs in Kodomamo Kids saying "An error has occurred in Family Sharing settings", please check the following steps ①–③:
① Set up Family Sharing on your child’s iPhone/iPad.
Please watch the following video for instructions on how to set up Family Sharing:
② Check the Family section in the Settings app under your child’s name for the label “(Adult).”
【If “(Adult)” is displayed under your child’s name in the Family section of iPhone Settings】
1. Your child’s device owner setting is set to “Adult.”
2. Family Sharing is only available for users aged 16 or under. Please refer to the following link and change the owner’s age setting on your child’s device.
【If “(Adult)” is NOT displayed】
Other parental control apps or filtering apps may be conflicting with Kodomamo, preventing it from retrieving your child’s information.
Please try the following steps:
1. Temporarily disable or remove any other family control apps or safety filters.
2. Complete the setup of Kodomamo.
3. Restart the other apps or filters.
③ On some iOS versions, please also try the following:
Go to Settings > Screen Time > Family > Child > Turn off child’s Screen Time management and Set up Family Sharing in Kodomamo
After setup is complete, turn child’s Screen Time management back on.
